Bridge the gap between what you say and what you do.
Make fewer but purposeful commitments, commitments that really mean a lot to you. Do not get into the habit of making too many personal commitments which you really do not mean.
Always try and make a commitment to yourself and if possible do not say it to others. They will be happy if you do something good to them when they did not really expect this from you.When you say it to others your ego starts working against the very commitments that you made. You start thinking that the other person is taking advantage of you just because they think or know that you are under their control because of the commitment you have made. This may not be the case.
Remember commitments are made to yourself and not to others. Keeping commitments is a question of your integrity and not others.
