Step 1: Ask yourself a lot of open-ended questions like –
What kind of life do you want?
What kind of people would you love to be surrounded with?
What kind of work environment will you love to be working in?
What, out of all that you can do, would you like to contribute to your organization so that you will always be glad to contribute even when times are tough?
Step 2: Write everything down without thinking whether this is possible or not.
Out of all that you would have written, slowly some plan will start growing.
Keep doing this till you become absolutely clear about what you would love to do.
The biggest mistake that people do is that they start creating a plan with a closed mindset. They do not look at all the possibilities before jumping on to a decision but do the same after they have made a decision. This is exactly opposite to what should be done. Those who succeed do not look back and this is possible because they are done with that part before decision making.
